Unusual places to stay – The Chocolate Boutique Hotel

In my teens, I would often spend my summer holidays in Bournemouth, UK. It boasts some incredible sandy beaches, trendy nightlife and great shopping (also, does anyone else remember SEGA world?!). It is a people watching mecca and the perfect destination for anyone who fancies a little escape to the seaside.

The Chocolate Boutique Hotel fell into my inbox, and I couldn’t not write a post about them. Combining the best of both worlds: a cosy seaside retreat and chocolate themed decor with amenities that could satisfy even the most crazy chocoholic.

…and just look at how pretty the building is.

Gorgeous. Looking at it makes me want to get lost in a good book in their garden.

There’s even a chocolate fountain in the hallway – I want to move in!

The rooms are adorned with cocoa/caramel hues and named after all things chocolate related, so you can really soak up that chocolatey experience to max!

I could spend hours looking out of the window of ‘Chocolate Orange’!

If you’re stuck for a quirky idea for Valentine’s Day, then you’re in luck – The Boutique Chocolate Hotel has some amazing Valentine’s packages, starting from just £300 with heaps of goodies thrown in including (amongst many things) some fizz, choccy cocktails and a chocolate workshop.

For an extra £100, you can upgrade the package to an entire suite, and pretend that you live in a beautiful chocolate fairytale, even if it’s just for one night.

The Chocolate Truffle Suite

The bed in the eaves looks so comfy, and a perfect place to take your beau for Valentine’s Day. Better start leaving hints ASAP…

Bournemouth is less than 2 hours by train from London, so there’s definitely no excuses for not checking it out.

You can book your spot online at this link or by calling 01202 556857. I’d advise moving quickly as these packages will go fast.

N.B This was not a sponsored post, I just really love finding and writing about quirky hotels.
