Beguiled & Innocent, a love affair with Topshop lippy

topshop lipsticks

I’ve been a fan of Topshop makeup for years, and whilst their range has at times been quite limiting depending on your store – there’s no denying that their products are actually very high quality.

Now, I’ve tried the occasional Topper’s eyeshadow and nail polish here and there, but for me, it’s all about their lipsticks and my two favourite shades: Beguiled (the berry) and Innocent (the nude pink).

These two shades are currently all packaged in their rose gold and white containers – a celebration of 5 years of topshop beauty. The metallic touches actually make them look more expensive than their £8 price point, don’t you think?

Innocent

A beautiful nude pink, I actually discovered this whilst searching for a dupe for Benefit’s Jingaling (now discontinued) – it’s a pretty soft nudey-pink, that has almost purple undertones. It’s definitely one of those ‘my lips but better’ shades. I always get compliments when I wear it, and it matches almost every outfit. Topshop’s website calls it an ‘iced lilac’ which is a perfect description.

Beguiled

Again, I discovered this whilst on the hunt for another dupe – this time for 107. This is a Matte shade, and it’s less imposing than our Rimmel fave, Beguiled is a gorgeous berry shade that usually won’t leave my lips until Springtime. It’s great for layering, whether you want an a glazed berry kind of finish or 2-3 layers giving a properly full impact.

If you’re unable to find these instore or online, cultbeauty also stocks select shades too! Spoiled for choice!

Have you ever tried Topshop lipsticks? Which is your favourite?
